Description
The Bulldog
Bulldog, also referred to as the English bulldog, is a breed of dog developed centuries ago in Great Britain for bullbaiting. This is a stocky dog that moves with a rolling gait. It has a large head, folded ears, short muzzle, protruding lower jaw, and loose skin that forms wrinkles on the head and face. Due to the bulldog’s facial appearance, it was nicknamed “sourmug.” Its short, fine coat is tan, white, reddish brown, brindle, or piebald.
The Bulldog makes a great companion. They are love people and are quite playful and friendly. Typically, a gentle and reliable dog, it is also characterized as powerful and courageous making them excellent watchdogs.
