Description
The Pug is ancient breed dog that can be traced back about 2000 years. Emperors of ancient China preferred flat faced toy dogs, so they developed and refined toy dogs, such as Pugs, to be pets of the emperor and his family, and members of the imperial court. Since they were bred to be companions their favorite place is right by their human’s side.
They love snuggling up on their owner’s lap or getting attention from them. These dogs are friendly, outgoing, and playful. Pugs come in two standard colors with a few tonal variations: fawn with a black mask or all black. The fawn or tan coat color can range from a warm apricot to a cool and rarely seen silver.
