Description
The Pembroke Welsh Corgi were bred as herding dogs in Wales. They are easily recognizable by their foxy face, perky ears, sturdy, long body, and short legs. Their medium-thick double coat comes in black & tan, fawn, red, or sable. These dogs are often mistaken for their slightly larger, long-tailed cousin, the Cardigan Welsh corgi, which is an entirely different breed.
These dogs are extremely intelligent, love to have fun, and are very kind. They have a great sense of humor and love their toys. The Corgi is social dog as well, so they love to interact with their people.
